Wain! JO Mobile Application was tested and approved by Apple. It was also tested against Apple's Quality Management Criteria and Acceptance Guidelines, therefore, Wain! JO Application is hosted on App Store and iTunes.

If your device is an Apple iPhone/ iPad/ or iPod Touch and Wain! JO Mobile Application is not functioning properly on that device, then, its either that:

  • 1. Your mobile platform version is lower than 3.0 (An old IOS Version), and you have to update it (Properly at your own risk) or
  • 2. Something is wrong with your mobile phone and you have to get it checked.

How is Wain! JO Mobile Application any different ?

Wain! JO Mobile application is a free mobile application that provides contact details and exact (formal and informal) location details of different outlets and brands in Jordan.

Wain! JO is an OFFLINE directory! This means that once you download Wain! JO to your mobile phone, you'll have a massive phone book including many brands and outlets, so, you will not be needing any internet connection to know where and how to get to some places, or atleast know their phone number so you can give 'em a call !

Wain! JO mobile application has a very user friendly interface. Says Who? Well, a recent field study by Wain! JO Team showed that 88 % (out of 50 males and females of all ages) were able to browse contacts using our application easily and without any help.

Using Social Networking Approaches only, we have gained around 4,600 website visitors in 4 and a Half Days. We are expecting this number to be multiplied by -at least- 3 times using different approaches of advertising and promotion within the next year.

 
I cannot see my device's version number in m.wainjo.com ?

Well ! too many solutions to your little problem:

First, Make sure that your device supports Wain! JO Mobile Application by looking into the list of compatible mobile phones on your left-hand side of the website. If its not there, its not supported!

Second, Ok, Your device supports Wain! JO Mobile Application and you have visited m.wainjo.com using:

1. An iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad and you cannot find your device's version number or simply because you dont know what the heck we're talking about, then, click on any version link, Example: 3_0, even if it is not your device's version number. This will launch Appstore or iTunes Application on your device, where, you will be able to download the application by clicking on the " install " button on the top of the screen.

2. An Android, and you cannot find your device's version number, then, click on any version link, even if it is not your device's version number. This intiates the application download to your device.

3. BlackBerry, Click on the link, but remember ! somehow it gets tricky here as you have to set permissions to the application setting it to allow everything.

4. Nokia: Remember ! you have to check if your device supports Wain! JO Application! How? look it it up in the list of compatible mobile phones on the left-hand side of the website.

Note that QWERTY stands for mobile phones that have full keyboard keys on its keypad.

5. Sony Ericsson (Older Versions): check if your device supports Wain! JO Application! if it does, look for your device's model and download it.

 
My Device is a BlackBerry and Wain! JO Application is not working propely!

Wain! JO Application was tested and approved against Cellular Applications Quality Measures and Guidelines for Mass Distribution by a reputable, Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, and CMMI LEVEL 3 3rd Party Application Development Firm in India.

Research In Motion Limited ( BlackBerry ) has given us a go-ahead with distributing our application as we wish,

Therefor, we have seen to hold hosting our application on BlackBerry App World till we are finished with our application upgrades to include more features.

We have hosted the application on our server side in the website, where, there are no restrictions against hosting the application.

If Wain! JO Mobile Application does not function properly on your BlackBerry Device then its either:

1. Your BlackBerry Device Platform version is Less than 4.6 or Greater than 7.0

Or

2. Your BlackBerry Device may need a format

Or

3. You have updated your device's software incorrectly.

 
My Device is an Android and Wain! JO Application is not working propely!

Wain! JO Application also met Android Market Application Acceptance Criteria, therefore, was accepted and hosted on Google Play Market. This means that it should be working on all Android Platfroms (1.6 and Above).

If your Mobile Phone is an Android, and Wain! JO Application is not functioning properly on that phone, then please visit Android Play Website (play.google.com) and try to figure out what the problem is by browsing through their FAQ's or their Forums.

 
Wain! JO Application is not working on my mobile phone! Why?

Wain! JO has developed the Mobile Application to work on five different platforms:

1. iPhone

2. BlackBerry

3. Android; including HTC, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Acer, and more.

4. Java: including some " Old Sony Ericsson " Mobile Phones.

5. Symbian: including a list of Nokia Mobile Phones.

Because mobile phones have different platforms and programming requirements, we have only restricted the development to best match Jordan's Mobile Market, where, we have supported smart phones and some widely used mobile phones.

Check your mobile compatability in the phone list tab (on your left hand-side). If your mobile is not listed, then probably Wain! JO Application will not function properly on your phone.

 
Will the application harm my mobile phone?

iPhone:
Wain! JO Mobile Application was tested and approved by Apple Appstore and iTunes, and was tested against Apple's Acceptance Guidelines for Applications, therefor, Wain! JO Application was accepted to be hosted on App Store and iTunes.

Android:
Wain! JO Application also met Android Market Application Acceptance Criteria, therefor, was accepted and hosted on Google Android Market. This means that it should be working on all Android Platfroms (1.6 and Above) without any problems.

BlackBerry:

Our applications are tested and according to the acceptance measures of each brand. We have also tested it ourselves and till now, we have not received a single negative feedback. Our applications do not overlap or override system files.
